Acceptance

By creating an account or using Framed (framedapp.art), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Framed is

Framed is a personal art diary. You can log artworks you have seen, rate and review them, create lists, and follow other users. Artwork metadata (titles, images, artist names) is sourced from public museum APIs and Wikidata.

Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Framed.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
  • One person, one account. Do not create accounts on behalf of others.
  • You may not use Framed for any illegal purpose.

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Scrape the site or its API by automated means without written permission.
  • Post content that is abusive, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our infrastructure.
  • Use the service to send spam or unsolicited messages.

Content you post

Reviews, list names, and other text you write remain yours. By posting them, you grant Framed a non-exclusive licence to display that content to other users as part of the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Content removal and account suspension

We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any account that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe harms the service or other users. We will act proportionally and, where practical, notify you before taking action.

No warranty

Framed is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data retention, or that the service will be error-free. Use it at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Framed is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Framed after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced in the app.
